The internet called it spyware, but a Microsoft VP debunked that. The data stays on your machine and only leaves with consent. Before disabling this service, verify that it is present on your specific Windows version and understand what features depend on it.
Some optimization and diagnostic services may provide useful information about system performance, thermals, battery behavior, or reliability.
I would not recommend disabling it automatically based only on whether you use a desktop or laptop. If you are troubleshooting a specific performance or privacy concern, document the current setting, test the change, and confirm that no important functionality is affected.
SysMain, previously called Superfetch, tries to improve responsiveness by learning which apps you use frequently and preparing data in advance. I would not disable it automatically on every Windows 11 PC, including every SSD-based system. If your computer is running normally, leave it alone. If Task Manager shows repeated disk or CPU activity connected to SysMain and you can reproduce the slowdown, test the system with the service disabled and compare the result.
The better rule is to troubleshoot the process causing the problem instead of disabling services just because a cleanup list says to.

Connected User Experiences and Telemetry, known by its old name DiagTrack, collects usage data and sends it to Microsoft based on your diagnostic settings. On a healthy desktop the cost is small, so this one is only for the privacy-focused.

Now the list that protects you from yourself. Microsoft Defender scores full marks in independent antivirus testing, and tamper protection now blocks the old disabling tricks.
